These are photos I just finished for a local area textile artist. The material is hand-dyed and hand-formed silk. These are images created for application to very high-end craft shows. I've come to understand that for these shows, in particular for wearable art, the "traditional" conservatism has been loosening up a bit, allowing photos to be a bit more fashion-oriented in style. We were trying for a happy medium, images which are consistent shot to shot, show off the work in an uncluttered manner and non-distracting manner, but which nonetheless had a feel of high-fashion. The client was thrilled with the work, and I found it to be some of the more enjoyable photography I've done in a while! It's always fun to get to play, and even more so when the standards and expectations are so high.
