Heather is a very successful Ceramic Artist from Hillsborough, NC I love working for her because her work is fun to shoot and she really wants me to make it look dramatic, especially the orbs. She considers the shadow an integral graphic element of the picture, which I really appreciate, and she pushes me to get drama and emotion into the shots, not that I need much pushing. I'm more often than not held back from putting in as much drama as I would like, which I think is a poor choice. Images of art need to pull you in, and help you feel the emotion inherent in the piece of art. Since the viewer of the photo can't see the real piece and feel its emotion content, the photographer has to feel it for that person and then present it to him in the photograph, and that is done with intuitive and skilled lighting.
